I have recently turned off all the statistic programs on my web server because I no longer need them any more. I added Google Analytics to my web sites to replace AWStats because the tracking by Google is just so much better. Furthermore, I don’t need to waste my valuable server resources since I can free load on Google’s servers.

How to Turn Off AWStats in WHM

If you plan to use Google Analytics like me, you should turn off all the “Stats Programs” on your WHM. You may do this yourself if you have WHM access or ask your web host to do it for you. I am sure they would be glad to turn this off for you because it saves server resources for them.
