"If you can get along with everyone and everyone loves you, then you don't stand for much. A person who stands his ground for his principles and won't compromise his integrity is not loved by everyone."

Maverick Keyword Researcher Videos Coming Soon

Sorry for the lack of updates. I moved from Thailand to Malaysia at the end of January and it has been really hectic and stressful. A lot of things have changed in my personal life…

I am now living in my Dad’s retirement house in Klang, Malaysia. Klang is in the state of Selangor, west of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. It is right between the capital city and the most important port in Malaysia, Port Klang. It is not as developed as Kuala Lumpur and I am struggling to get around town because the public transport is very limited and there aren’t a lot of taxis outside of the town area.

My Dad’s house is new so it requires some renovations and it has been pretty messy and noisy during the initial week I was here. The pruchasing of furniture/household items, unpacking, cleaning and organising took up a lot of my time during the first week or so. I still need to get some furniture from IKEA once they have the white Billy bookcase back in stock!

I adopted a mixed black Labrodor Retriever puppy from my Grandfather’s house 6 days ago. There are a lot of stray dogs at my Grandfather’s house, which is at a “kampong” (Malay word for village) area. I saw at least 6 black dogs at my Grandfather’s place and there was this black puppy who was the “alpha dog” of the pack. He gets to eat before everyone else even though his is the smallest in size and age. My Dad and I decided to adopt him to train him to watch over our house. It is a huge step up for this dog because his life in the kampong was rough as no one really cared if he lived or died.

I got my own internet connection, which took over 10 days before the internet technician came to my house to install my broadband modem. Even though I have a 1 MBps broadband connection, I still find my connection speeds really slow. The good thing is it seems to be able to stay connected 24/7 unlike the internet in Thailand, which can disconnect over 5 times in an hour.

Maverick Keyword Researcher Videos

Although I have written a user guide for the Maverick Keyword Researcher, I think a lot of people would benefit from videos to demonstrate the features of the application. I will post videos of the Maverick Keyword Researcher from next week onwards.

Free Twitter Background Switcher

I created a Twitter script to change my Twitter background. I will release this as a free bonus to everyone on my newsletter lists.

Try out a live example of my Twitter Background Switcher…

First, visit the Maverick Web Creations Twitter account. Secondly, go to the Twitter Background Switcher page. Lastly, refresh my Maverick Web Creations Twitter account page. You will see a different Twitter background image every time you refresh the Twitter Background Switcher page. This script can be used to update your Twitter background automatically with a Cron job from your web server.
