OnlyWire Review: The Brutal Truth

I recently tested the OnlyWire social bookmarking service. It claims to help you easily send your bookmarks to 22 social bookmarking sites with a single click. What that means for you is you may potentially get 22 back links for every web page you send to OnlyWire.

Before you begin to drool… Let me conduct a reality check on what actually works and what doesn’t with the OnlyWire service.

• Delicious – Works fine
• Diigo – Works fine
• excites – Works fine
• Furl – Works fine
• linkatopia – Did not see my link
• Linkroll – Cannot register
• Looklater – Really wants me to look later because their site seems to be down
• Magnolia – Did not see my link
• Markaboo – Cannot register
• RawSugar – Did not see my link
• Shadows – Did not see my link
• Simpy – Works fine
• Spurl – Did not see my link
• unalog – Cannot register
• Wink – Did not see my link
• Xilinus – Did not see my link

I only got 6 out of the 22 promised social bookmarking sites to work with OnlyWire. It is not entirely OnlyWire’s fault because some of the sites are not working at the moment. I believe you only need to register for the 6 social bookmarking sites that actually work with OnlyWire if you plan to use this service.
