Affiliate Money Tree Review – Part 2

Affiliate Money Tree Review Part 2

After 1 week of testing 14 affiliate programs I must say The Affiliate Money Tree has been a good investment for me. I have made over $60 from the author’s recommeded affiliate programs. I made 6 sales in total from 5 affiliate programs so far.

Once you purchase and read the ebook, you’ll get a feel of the kind of affiliate programs that make money. I’ve give you a hint…. The affiliate programs the author is suggesting are from software (spyware, registry repair, dvd copiers), “make money” memberships (surveys, grants, claims), web hosting, diets, dating and a few more. I noticed that they are mostly digital products. There is probably only 1 or 2 physical products.

The main difference between Mike’s method and Greg’s method of Google AdWords 123 is that Mike recommeds using very targeted keywords and bidding higher CPC for them. Greg recommends targeting consumer based keywords that most people don’t think of for fraction of the cost of the competitive keywords. Its not that Greg doesn’t use targeted keywords, its just occupies 1 ad group in his campaign and the rest of the ad groups are consumer based. You can learn more about this in his ebook.

I can’t wait to create another 15 affiliate programs from the list! I’m only half way through the 39 affiliate programs. Somehow I still feel the author is hiding something from us because I still do not understand why there are only 39 affiliate programs instead of the 50 he promised? I also don’t understand why he didn’t reply to me 2 emails?

Anyway, I like the author’s openness in letting us have some of his keywords and affiliate programs he is using. Apart from the inconsistencies I mentioned in Part 1 of this review, I believe this ebook is a good buy for $49. If I read this ebook earlier, I would have known which affiliate programs to avoid. The reason why I lost money in September 2004 was because I simply promoted too many health/diet ebooks and some other weird products that just wouldn’t sell consistently!

A word of caution! If you find any of the affiliate programs unprofitable to promote, simply stop your campaigns. Do not take the author’s recommendations as gospel truth. Determine how much you are willing to spend per campaign and if it doesn’t make a sale, drop the campaign and move on. Some of the bid prices are very high and if they don’t work, you’re going to lose a lot of money!

If you decide to purchase this ebook, email me the order receipt and I’ll email you the full keyword list in text files if you purchase through my Affiliate Money Tree link. It took me over 6 hours to scan them from the printed ebook into text files. Then I had to check for any spelling mistakes. Well I made a blunder by taking so long to get the keywords out…. I discovered I could simply print the ebook into a virtual PDF writer and then do a “Save as Text” to get the text out of the PDF!

Hey Vincent,

I bought the affiliate money tree as well and put some of the keywords to test. Problem I have is that most of the keywords have very low estimated clicks. My campaigns have been running for a week now with very few impressions and no clicks.

Did you encounter this scenario as well? Or are you using other PPC search engines in addition to Adwords?

Yes I did get zero clicks for some campaigns. I actually made a couple of sales with the keywords list but it didn’t last very long. I really don’t believe in such ebooks that tell you they have a money making list of keywords. If a lot of people use the same list of keywords, the author won’t be able to profit anymore.
